The Labour and Labour co-op share of the votes (%) in the UK 2010 General Election
The map shows the number of Labour and Labour Co-Op votes polled as a percentage of the total number of votes for all parties. The percentage is shown for every individual Parliamentary constituency.
The Thirsk and Malton seat has yet to be declared and has been taken as zero percent in this map. The Buckingham constituency was won by the Speaker, John Bercow with 47% of the vote. This has been plotted as a zero result for Labour who didn't stand against the speaker according to convention.
The Northern Ireland constituencies have been omitted due to the fact that we don't currently have any border files for Ireland.
The data comes from the spreadsheet on the Guardian Data Blog website: http://www.guardian.co.uk/news/datablog/2010/may/07/uk-election-results-data-candidates-seats
